At Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation we believe every person has the right to live in their own home and to have that home perceived as not belonging to an agency, association, or staff. It is with this philosophy that we proudly deliver in home supports as unique as you are.
Residential Supports may take several forms that include:
-
Supportive Roommate - Where the client and support worker live together. This can happen in a support workers home or it can happen in the client's home. Supports may be and not limited to budgeting, meal planning, chores, emotional support/companionship, personal care and safety.
-
Respite - This can take place in the support workers home or in the client's home. Respite usually takes place during the weekend and gives the client's primary support worker relief. In other words, respite is temporary supports for a duration of time.
-
Peer living - Where two individuals/clients live together with supports.
