CPLF provides hands on monitoring of both the residential and community supports. This close monitoring allows us to support the existing placement and to provide early intervention when problems arise. If a placement breaks down (for whatever reason) CPLF ensures another placement is secured in a timely manner so that the individual is never without service.
All our clients who receive supports from Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation all recieve:
1. Supervision of support workers/consumers.
2. Training and orientation classes.
3. Coordinating of meetings, transportation, medical appointments.
4. Scheduling.
5. Bookkeeping/computerized payroll, invoicing, and financial statements.
6. Researching.
7. Screening, selecting, hiring, and evaluations of employees.
8. Monthly written reports.
9. Daily log notes if needed.
10. Development of policies, procedures, and structure to ensure quality of service.
11. Deliver materials and equipment to support workers.
12. Ensure that our client's personal items are respected and not shared without proper authorization.
13. Inform support workers of any new developments in the client's goals/needs.
14. Ensure that all individual files and records are up to date and confidential.
15. Conduct monthly visits to ensure the home is in good repair and to oversee the overall operation of the residence and ensure all policies are met.
16. To notify client's of any new job opportunities that may be suitable to them through our "Small Jobs" program.
